How does hypnotherapy work?
Hypnosis can help you make positive changes. You will be really relaxed and I will help you enter a trance like state which will enable me to speak directly to your subconscious mind. During the session, I will speak to your subconscious mind in a way that will help you to reprogramme unwanted behaviour and habits that you have formed and are stopping you from making the positive changes that you want to make. You will not be asleep and you will be in complete control, it is important to know that no one can control your mind and make you do things you don’t want to do.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what the issues are and how deep your unwanted habits are rooted. For weight loss 2 sessions a couple of weeks apart are usually recommended, at the second session we either embed the same messages deeper or sometimes we find that different issues need addressing in the second session, sometimes people prefer to come back for more sessions after the first 2 and this is fine and completely down to personal choice, it maybe that months later a bad experience can cause a relapse and you feel like you want to come back, some people manage fine though using the recordings at home. Phobias can often be dealt with very effectively in one session.. People who suffer from stress and anxiety often find it beneficial to come for a session once a month which can include a combination of life coaching and hypnosis, for people requiring monthly sessions I am happy to negotiate a cheaper rate.
